Cemeteries

Leah went with me to a nearby cemetery in Colton.  It is called the Augua Mansa Pioneer Memorial Park.
I went there to try and find a headstone for one of my relatives, Antonio B. Smith.  The cemetery had records of his burial--but just his name.  We couldn't find the headstone, and when we found the caretaker, he said that the headstone had either been defaced or stolen before the cemetery became an historical landmark and got fenced in.  We saw names for hundreds of Hispanic peoples that settled the areas of Colton, Rialto, and San Bernardino.  Leah seemed to enjoy herself.

After I took a picture of her,
I gave her my camera.

She took a picture of me too.
With no head!

After that she took pictures of things
 that took her fancy,
like hearts,

like red roses,

like the name of her best friend on a gravestone
(okay, that's weird Leah!),

like headless cherubs . . .
it's getting weirder!

Oh, look!
She actually got a picture of me
with my head!
