
So, the Dr. says he doesn't think it's fractured, but wants a suspicious area checked out by the radiologist in a little more detail. It's her
pinky. More
accurately, the bones in her hand above her
pinky. For now we are classified as a "severe sprain" and she needs to keep the splint on for a week. Hopefully after that she can get it off-- it is a cast around her fingers and a half-cast down her arm and she can't get it wet. Bummer! When she left orthopedics, the technician gave her strict orders not to do dishes, make her bed, fold laundry or pull weeds. I think she paid him to say that. She was grinning!
Ryanne's advice is: "Don't let another big kid jump on your hand when you are laying on the trampoline. And if he does, at least get out of chores afterward!"

Ouch.... What's summer vacation without injuries? What are injuries without perks? I hope it heals quickly.
