It is the weekend of General Conference and we are in Crestline at Mimi and Papa's house.
It is Leah's birthday and we are having a little family birthday party.
Leah gets a special Princess Castle Cake.
Thanks to Mimi!
She gets bright yellow daffodils from her friend, Sarah.
She makes a wish and blows out her candles,
which keep re-lighting because
they are those trick candles.
She laughs and keeps blowing.
Here she is with her friend Sarah Trivett--
and her little brother Elias who
can't seem to keep his head out of the picture.
\Leah opens her presents--
a little purse and some jewelry from Aunty Raroo.
And from Papa and Mimi,
A little primary song book.
And a little hymn book.
And from her mom and dad,
a blue quadruple combination--
The Old and New Testament, Book of Mormon,
and Doctrine and Covenants.
A just so you don't think
this little nine-year-old feels jipped,
these are the things she asked for--
the things she was really hoping to get!
We love you Leah!
